Q: How long will I have to wait for a technician to visit?
A: We will visit you ASAP, which usually means the same day or the next day.
Q: Do you offer an OAP discount?
A:Yes, we do offer an OAP discount of 10%, if the work is within 10 miles from our base.
Q: Can you sell me pesticides, so I can do the work myself?
A: No, the pesticides we use are by law only to be used by qualified pest controllers, and they are not available to the general public.
Q: How much will the it cost?
A: We offer a free survey and free callout everytime to give you a no obligation free quotation.
Q: I need mouse control done in my restaurant at 6 in the morning, not when customers are present...can you do this?
A: No problem, we are available 24/7 and are highly discreet.
Q: I suspect we have bats in the attic. Can you remove them?
A: No bats are protected under the Wildlife and Countryside act 1981, and cannot be interfered with in any way
Q: It is the middle of winter and I found a large wasp nest in the attic? What do I do?
A: Always approach wasp nests with caution, but in winter wasps die off, and fertilized queens hibernate elsewere, the empty nest is never re-used. So the nest it is most likely empty in winter (very mild wheather might mean a few survivors might persist into early winter).
Q: I have a (honey) bee hive in a cavity wall, but he council sais bees are protected and they cannot be removed. It this right?
A: No, bees are not protected and councils use this as an excuse not to carry out this type of work. Bees are beneficial pollinators, and collection by a bee-keeper should be a priority. However it is a legal requirement if a bee colony is exterminated, to either block access to honey combs or remove them altogether to prevent access by domesticated honey bees (and to prevent possible litigations if secondary poisonings occur). Treatment is only £60, but we are oblidged by law to carry out follow-up work at additional costs (a no obligation free survey will estabish total costs before we start).
